The main objective of this intervention is to raise awareness among users of Porto Santo Beach about the importance of conservation of the dune ecosystem.

The work to be carried out consists of placing wooden piles connected by rigging in different areas between Fontinha Beach and Calheta Beach, raising awareness of the importance of avoiding crossing the dunes, giving preference to the existing walkways.

Light, discrete materials are used, used in other dune systems around the world, in order to better match the surrounding landscape.
