Photos Conference “BIOSPHERE RESERVES: SUSTAINABLE TERRITORIES, RESILIENT COMMUNITIES – LUSÓPHONO DIALOGUES”, at the Serralves Foundation.

On June 28th, the Porto Santo City Council, through the Municipal Library, started the activities programmed under the project “Readings with flavor of the sea”, to be developed in the “Literary Garden”.

“Porto Santo Literary Cartographies” was the theme promoted by the guest speaker - Dr. Cláudia Faria, who works in the Regional Directorate for Culture, aimed at students from the Senior University, who introduced several authors who wrote about Porto Island Santo and its people.

We would like to thank Dr. Cláudia Faria, Prof. Rute Areal, coordinator of the Senior University and her students, who embraced this initiative and shared stories and experiences of the past.
