The presentation of the LIFE DUNAS Project took place on the 18th, 19th and 25th of May to students of the 1st Cycle. This initiative had 70 students from EB1 / PE e creche do Porto Santo and 14 students from the Escola de Nossa Senhora da Conceição.
Environmental education activities are a fundamental part of this project, which, together with the Environmental Education Program for Sustainability and Eco-Schools, includes questions on climate adaptations, dune restoration and sustainable coastal management.
The objective of the LIFE DUNAS project is to involve 100% of the school community in Porto Santo.
LIFE DUNAS is 55% funded by the European Union LIFE program.
