Following the deliberations and decisions of the 2nd Session of the Municipal Youth Assembly of Porto Santo (AMJPS), which took place on May 21, 2021, in the Main Hall of the Paços do Concelho Building, with the participation of 16 Young Deputies Municipal, 9th grade students, as voted unanimously in the same, and taking into account institutional cooperation, recognizing the work developed in the field of Domestic Violence by the Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM, the Porto Santo City Council will promote a Cycle of Conferences, addressing the theme of Domestic Violence and dating, and challenges in education today, with these young deputies, guardians and the local community.

To mark the “DAY OF PORTUGAL, CAMÕES AND PORTUGUESE COMMUNITIES”, on 10 June, the Municipality of Porto Santo, through its Municipal Library and the Culture Office, makes available to the public an exhibition entitled “CAMÕES”, a tribute to the eternal poet, Luís Vaz de Camões, author of “Os Lusíadas”.

Visit this exhibition, on display in the Atrium of the Public Services Building, from June 11th to 30th, complying with all safety standards related to COVID-19.
